FOX 2.0 Rear Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension FOX 2.0 shock absorber is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for your 1973-1987 Chevrolet/GMC Truck or 1973-1991 SUV 4WD when equipped with a BDS 4 to 8-inch lift kit. Constructed with a 2-inch impact-extruded, clear anodized aluminum body (6061 T6), this shock efficiently dissipates heat, allowing it to perform like a larger diameter shock. The 5/8-inch heavy-duty shaft is hard chrome plated and heat-treated for exceptional durability, virtually eliminating damage from rust and debris. Inside, the race-developed high-flow piston and Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design work together. The IFP separates shock oil from the nitrogen-charged gas, preventing aeration and cavitation, which ensures fade-free performance and a predictable ride even in the most demanding off-road scenarios. FOX and BDS collaborated to custom-valve each shock application specifically for BDS Suspension systems.
