The FOX 2.0 Snap Ring Strut IFP Shock is engineered by BDS Suspension to enhance the on-road comfort and off-road capability of select 2019-2026 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 models. This shock absorber features a mono-tube design with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) system. This innovative design effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and ensuring consistent performance. The factory-tuned, precision valving is specifically calibrated to maximize performance for its intended application. Constructed with a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, this shock is both lightweight and resistant to rust. It incorporates a custom-molded spring seat, allowing for the reuse of the stock spring and mounting hardware. The 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft ensures durability. Three predetermined preload settings provide the flexibility to achieve 0, 1, or 2 inches of lift. Fitment is specified for the 2019-2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, including specific trims like Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss, AT4, and Denali for model years 2022-2023. This shock is compatible with both 2WD and 4WD drivetrains, and with both Gas and Diesel engine options for the specified model years.
