The BDS Suspension FOX88326093 represents the Performance Elite Series 2.5" Reservoir smooth body shocks, engineered to provide enhanced ride quality and superior control, particularly when venturing off-road. Drawing design inspiration from FOX's Off-Road race shocks, these components have been rigorously tested and perfected in demanding conditions. Constructed with a 2.5-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum body, these shocks are built to resist rust and dissipate heat effectively. Key components, including the black-anodized accents, are crafted from CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The shocks feature a 7/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft, a race-developed high-flow piston design, and application-specific valving for optimal performance. A redundant sealing pack system, comprising main, wiper, and scraper seals, ensures long-term reliability. The spherical bearings are PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel for smooth operation. These shocks are specifically designed for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. The fitment list includes various trims such as X, Rubicon, Unlimited Sahara, Sport, 70th Anniversary, 75th Anniversary, and Sport S, covering model years from 2007 through 2018. The shocks offer 11.48 inches of travel, with an extended length of 28.84 inches and a compressed length of 17.36 inches. They utilize a stem top mount and an eyelet bottom mount, and include a reservoir bracket.
