The BDS Suspension FOX98524172 rear shock is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for the 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL. Designed specifically to integrate with BDS 0 to 1.5-inch lift suspension kits, this shock aims to provide a predictable ride and handle rough conditions with fade-free performance, drawing from FOX's race product heritage. The Performance Series 2.0 IFP (Internal Floating Piston) rear shocks utilize a mono-tube design. This construction features an internal reservoir that effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, ensuring consistent and maximum performance from the precision valving, which has been custom-tuned by FOX and BDS for each specific application. Key specifications include a 16.8000-inch compressed length and a 26.9200-inch extended length, with a 10.1200-inch travel length. The shock is gas-charged and features a smooth body with a clear anodized finish. The lower mounting utilizes an eyelet (EB1 code) and the upper mount is a stem (ES15 code). It is not adjustable and does not have adjustable damping. Mounting hardware is not included with this shock.
