The BDS Suspension FOX88306177 coil-over shocks are engineered to elevate your 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma 4WD, providing a level ride height by eliminating forward rake while enhancing suspension articulation and droop travel. The 2.5-inch diameter bodies are constructed from impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum, finished with Type III hard anodization to resist corrosion and wear. External reservoirs increase internal oil capacity, allowing for efficient heat dissipation and sustained performance, especially under demanding conditions. These Performance Elite shocks incorporate a race-developed, high-flow piston design and application-specific valving to optimize damping for the Tacoma platform. The 7/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shafts ensure durability, while redundant sealing systems (main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal) protect against contaminants. PTFE-lined, heat-treated alloy steel spherical bearings provide smooth suspension articulation. The shocks also feature Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters on the external reservoirs, strategically placed to avoid interference with aggressive tires at full steering lock, allowing for quick adjustments based on load, environment, and driving style.
