FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series Front Coilover

The BDS Suspension FOX98224602 is a front shock absorber built to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for specific GM trucks. It utilizes a mono-tube design with an internal floating piston (IFP) and an internal reservoir. This design effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and ensuring consistent, fade-free performance even under demanding conditions. Constructed with a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, this shock resists rust and dissipates heat efficiently. It features a robust 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a race-developed high-flow piston design. The shock is gas-charged and designed as a smooth body type, with a clevis lower mount and a stem upper mount (S50). This shock absorber is specifically engineered for the 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 and the 2000-2006 Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon 4WD models, intended for use with 4 to 6-inch lift kits. Notably, mounting hardware is not included with this shock absorber. It offers a compressed length of 14.6000 inches and an extended length of 21.7000 inches, with a travel length of 7.1000 inches.
