The Fox 987-24-016 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO Shock Absorber improves on and off-road performance in your Jeep Gladiator with position-sensitive technology, larger pistons, and vehicle-specific valving. These FOX Shocks feature a type II anodized aluminum body for efficient heat dissipation and corrosion prevention. The 2.5-inch shock body incorporates an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping and eliminating oil aeration for maximum performance from the factory-tuned precision valving. Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology provides usable position-sensitive rebound-damping control, reducing harsh top-outs and increasing comfort, especially beneficial after installing heavier, aggressive tires and for applications lifted higher than OEM specifications.
