The FOX 1.5 ZERO Quick Switch (QS) coil shocks are the next generation of lightweight mountain sled suspension technology, designed for reduced weight and improved ride performance. They feature a 3-position knob for quick adjustment of compression and rebound damping without removing gloves, and a lockout mode for easier side hilling and predictable climbing by limiting weight transfer and trenching. The coil springs are redesigned with fewer coils and built from a lighter steel alloy, resulting in the same spring rate at half the weight. These shocks incorporate position-sensitive damping technology with spiral grooves inside the shock to reduce damping force in the ride zone for a plush feel, while increasing bottom-out resistance in the final 30% of travel. Key objectives in their design include less weight and fatigue for more riding, position-sensitive damping for a plush ride with a bottomless feel, better handling, and QS3 quick switch adjustable settings. They feature aluminum mounting hardware for significant weight savings, integrated reducers to prevent loss during installation, and are fully re-buildable and re-valvable. Compared to M.Y. 2020 QS models, these Coil Over shocks are reduced by .75lbs each (ski shocks) and are 21% lighter than non LW Series Coil Over shocks.
