The FOX QS3-QSR rear shocks are high-performance remote reservoir shocks for Harley-Davidson Touring models. They feature three-position compression (QS3) and rebound (QSR) switches for on-the-fly adjustments. QS3 settings: maximum comfort, extra support during hard acceleration, or responsive handling. QSR settings: comfort on bumpy roads, balanced control/comfort for general riding, or firm feel for smooth, twisty roads. These gas-charged mono-tube shocks have an internal floating piston (IFP) design, 1.5-inch diameter 6061-T6 aluminum type III hard-anodized bodies. They are fully rebuildable and re-valvable, with advanced high-flow, deflective disc velocity-sensitive damping and 5/8-inch diameter, low friction, super-finished hard chrome shafts. Includes matte black springs, black-anodized preload rings, aluminum remote reservoirs, and custom mounting brackets. This variant (897-27-310) is 13-inch extended length with a standard spring rate, optimized for rider weights typically under 240lbs.
