FOX Internal Reservoir Front Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX98224606 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP front shock engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for select Chevrolet and GMC trucks. It is designed to integrate seamlessly with a BDS 7-inch lift kit. Constructed with a durable 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, this shock resists rust and dissipates heat effectively. The 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft ensures longevity. Inside, a race-developed high-flow piston design and the Internal Floating Piston (IFP) technology work together to separate oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas. This configuration prevents oil aeration, allowing the precision valving to deliver optimal, fade-free performance even under demanding conditions. FOX and BDS collaborated to custom-valve these shocks specifically for BDS Suspension systems, transforming equipped trucks into capable off-road machines with a predictable ride. The mono-tube design features an internal reservoir that further aids in performance consistency.
