FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP Front Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX98224965 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP front shock, engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability. It utilizes a mono-tube construction with an internal floating piston (IFP) that effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration and cavitation, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions. Custom-valved in collaboration between FOX and BDS, this shock is precisely tuned to integrate seamlessly with BDS Suspension systems. Key specifications include a compressed length of 15.5500 inches and an extended length of 25.1500 inches, with a travel length of 9.6000 inches. The shock body is constructed from clear anodized, impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, providing durability and resistance to rust. It features a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated alloy steel shaft and a smooth body type. The mounting configuration includes a bar pin lower mount (BP7) and a stem upper mount (s50). This shock is designed specifically to fit a BDS 3 to 4.5-inch lift suspension kit and is compatible with the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ and the 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. Mounting hardware is not included with this shock.
