FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP Front Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX98224979 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP front shock engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability. This shock is designed specifically to complement a BDS 2-inch lift suspension system, providing a predictable ride capable of handling rough conditions with fade-free performance. Constructed with a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, it resists rust over time. It features a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a race-developed high-flow piston design. The internal IFP (internal floating piston) mono-tube reservoir design separates shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, eliminating oil aeration for maximum performance from the factory-tuned, precision valving. FOX and BDS collaborated to custom valve each application for optimal performance with BDS Suspension systems. This front shock is compatible with the following Jeep models: 1984-2001 Cherokee XJ, 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee ZJ, 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ, and 2004-2006 Wrangler LJ. It fits both 2WD and 4WD configurations with Diesel or Gas engines for these model years.
