FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP Rear Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension FOX98224766 rear shock absorber is engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road control for 2000-2005 Ford Excursion 4WD vehicles, specifically when used with a BDS 10-inch lift suspension kit. This shock features a mono-tube design with an internal floating piston (IFP) reservoir. This construction separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and ensuring maximum performance. The shock utilizes factory-tuned, precision valving, custom-valved by FOX and BDS in collaboration to work seamlessly with BDS Suspension systems. The shock body is constructed from a 2-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum, offering resistance to rust. The shaft is made of a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel. Key specifications include a compressed length of 20.4000 inches and a travel length of 15.1000 inches. The mounting types are Eyelet for the lower mount and BP8 for the upper mount. It is gas-charged and not adjustable, with no adjustable dampening.
