FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension FOX98224762 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP (Internal Floating Piston) shock absorber engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for trucks and Jeeps. This shock absorber utilizes a mono-tube design incorporating an internal reservoir. This design effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, thereby eliminating oil aeration and ensuring maximum performance from the precision, factory-tuned valving. FOX and BDS collaborated to custom-valve this shock absorber for each specific application, ensuring perfect integration with BDS Suspension systems. It delivers a predictable ride, excelling in handling the roughest terrain with consistent, fade-free performance. Constructed with a 2-inch diameter impact-extruded and CNC-machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum body, this shock is resistant to rust. It features a robust 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a race-developed, high-flow piston design. The compressed length is 19.27 inches, the extended length is 33.00 inches, and it offers 13.73 inches of travel. This shock has a smooth body type and is gas-charged but does not offer adjustable damping or other adjustable features. The lower mount is an eyelet (EB1 code), and the upper mount is a bar pin (BP8 code). Please note that mounting hardware is not included with this shock absorber.
