FOX Performance Series 2.0 Snap Ring IFP Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX98662000 is a FOX Performance Series 2.0 Snap Ring IFP shock engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for 2019-2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, specifically when used with a BDS 4-6 inch lift kit. Its mono-tube construction utilizes an internal reservoir, housing a high-pressure nitrogen-charged gas chamber that is separated from the shock oil by an Internal Floating Piston (IFP). This design effectively eliminates oil aeration, allowing the factory-tuned precision valving to operate at maximum efficiency. Constructed with a precision, impact-extruded 2-inch aluminum body, this shock is both lightweight and resistant to rust, featuring a clear anodized finish. It incorporates a custom-molded spring seat, enabling the reuse of the vehicle's stock spring and mounting hardware. The shock offers two predetermined preload settings to achieve either a 4-inch or 6-inch lift height. The 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a race-developed high-flow piston design further contribute to its robust performance. The extended length is 28.6400 inches, with a compressed length of 23.2500 inches, and a travel length of 5.3900 inches. The lower mount type is Bar Pin (OEM), and the upper mount type is Stem (OEM). Mounting hardware is not included.
