FOX Performance Series Rear Shock

The BDS Suspension FOX98224976 is a rear shock absorber engineered to enhance both on-road comfort and off-road capability for your 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and 2004-2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ. These FOX Performance Series 2.0 IFP (Internal Floating Piston) shocks are designed to integrate with a BDS 4-inch lift suspension kit. The mono-tube construction, combined with the IFP technology, effectively separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration, ensuring consistent performance and fade-free operation even under demanding off-road conditions. The internal reservoir design allows for maximum performance from the precision valving, which has been factory-tuned in collaboration between FOX and BDS. Constructed for durability and performance, the shock body is made from 2-inch impact-extruded, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with a clear anodized finish to resist corrosion. The 5/8-inch shock shaft is crafted from hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy steel for superior strength and resilience. The race-developed, high-flow piston design further contributes to the shock's performance capabilities.
