The On3 Performance (1986-1993) Mustang GT/Cobra 5.0 Foxbody Single Turbo System is a comprehensive turbo kit engineered to dramatically enhance the performance of your 5.0L Foxbody Mustang. This system has a proven track record, being On3 Performance's first kit released in 2007 and continually refined since. It is designed to be a cost-effective upgrade, offering substantial power gains that can transform a street car into a serious performer, with many users achieving 400-500 wheel horsepower, enabling 10-second quarter-mile times. The kit provides significant power increases, with the potential to nearly triple factory torque and double horsepower, which typically hovers around 185 rear wheel horsepower for stock 5.0 motors. Boost levels can be dialed in to suit your needs, offering ample room for growth. Various turbocharger options are available, including 70mm, 76mm, and 7875mm sizes, catering to different power goals from approximately 500 rwhp up to 800 rwhp. Wastegate and intercooler options are also customizable to match your performance objectives. Installation of this turbo system allows for the retention of power steering and, with minor adjustments to the condenser lines, the original air conditioning. However, the kit does not provide space for the smog pump, making it suitable for off-road applications only.
