This seal, with dimensions of 38x50x7mm and constructed from FPM material, functions as a direct replacement for BMW part numbers 11121284154 and 11121285609. Manufactured by Victor-Reinz (and sometimes branded as Elring), this aftermarket seal closely follows the original design and utilizes similar materials. It meets or exceeds OE specifications and may carry the same TUV approval as its genuine counterpart. The brand also offers a two-year warranty, aligning with Genuine BMW and OEM brands. It is important to note that a smaller inner camshaft seal (BMW part #11121265087) should be replaced concurrently with this front camshaft seal for a complete repair.
