FR6AHX-S Double Fine Electrode Spark Plug

The NGK FR6AHX-S is a spark plug designed for newer engines requiring high ignitability. It features a Double Fine Electrode (DFE) design to concentrate spark energy and ignite a wider range of air-fuel ratios, improving performance in both rich and lean conditions.

Constructed with a 0.4mm Ruthenium alloy fine wire center electrode and a 0.8mm platinum fine wire ground electrode, this spark plug offers superior durability and ignition. The trivalent metal platinum construction provides excellent anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties. Corrugated ribs help prevent flashover, while the pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator ensures superior strength and heat transfer. A copper core aids in heat removal.
