Competition Engineering 0623 Wheel-E-Bar Traction Bars are designed to function as part of the rear suspension system. They control weight transfer rearward without unloading the rear tires. When properly installed, these bars become an integral part of the vehicle's suspension, controlling the rate and extent of front-end lift without shocking or unloading the rear suspension. The standard length is 44 inches and is non-adjustable. The kit includes aluminum lower struts, axle housing brackets, upper strut bars, bolted spring collars, springs, threaded spring collars, threaded aluminum struts, welded T-pins, quick release pins, wheel housings, rubber wheels, wheel spacers, and an axle spread bar. Installation involves welding and adjustments to control weight transfer and spring pre-load. Users should note that in some chassis configurations, interference with components like the gas tank or frame may require notching or relocation.
