The Shogun Frame Sliders are a "no cut" protection system specifically engineered for the Yamaha MT-03 motorcycle, covering model years 2016 through 2025. The pucks are constructed from a shatter-proof UHMW material infused with a UV protective polymer, ensuring durability and resistance to both cold temperatures and sun fading. Unlike some other materials, these pucks are less likely to shatter or fade over time. Each puck also features a press-fit aluminum bushing, which is crucial for holding the puck securely in place during an impact and reducing the risk of it tearing away from the mounting point. The offsets for these frame sliders are precision CNC machined from the same grade of aluminum used in military aircraft, ensuring high strength and reliability. They are finished with a black anodizing to seamlessly match OEM components. The manufacturing process adheres to stringent specifications under ISO 9000 quality control standards. Furthermore, Shogun utilizes high-tensile strength, corrosion-resistant hardware, specifically socket head bolts, which provide a stronger design in a more compact form and prevent the rusting issues common with lower-grade hardware found on imitator products.
