The T-Rex Racing N78-15 is a pair of no-cut frame sliders designed for specific Yamaha motorcycle models. These sliders feature solid UHMW-PE pucks for increased impact absorption and a wider contact surface, bolted to the engine mount with aircraft-grade aluminum spacers.

The T-Rex Racing N78-15 frame sliders offer robust protection for your Yamaha motorcycle. Designed as a no-cut installation, these sliders do not require any modification to the plastic fairings. The sliders feature a solid puck design, crafted from UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene), which is known for its toughness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. This material is softer yet tougher than Delrin, allowing it to absorb more impact force and reduce stress on the frame and engine during a low-side event. The pucks are mounted via a solid billet aluminum spacer bolted to the engine mount, ensuring long-term stability without the need for periodic re-tightening, a common issue with plastic sliders. The hardware, including bolts, is made from grade 6 stainless steel, with a tensile strength of 177,000 psi, utilizing the highest commercially available grade 12.9 where possible. This meticulous material selection ensures durability and performance under stress. Installation is rated as average difficulty (3 out of 5) and typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes. The kit includes all necessary hardware for a direct fit. These frame sliders are specifically designed for the Yamaha MT-03 from 2016-2025 and the Yamaha YZF-R3 from 2015-2018. It is crucial to note that these sliders WILL NOT FIT the YZF-R3 models from 2019 and onwards. Replacement pucks are available for future low-side incidents, allowing for cost-effective maintenance.
