Front Axle Assembly 3.73 Gear Ratio

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA434-1810D is a remanufactured front axle assembly designed for the 1993-1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) models, compatible with both 2WD and 4WD gas engine configurations. This assembly is built upon a Dana 30 differential with a 3.73 gear ratio and a 7.12-inch ring gear, featuring a CV joint front yoke. Zumbrota Drivetrain ensures the reliability of these remanufactured units through a rigorous process. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for wear and cracks. Internal components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo a 100 percent inspection. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. The housings are hydro-blasted to achieve an OEM finish. During the remanufacturing process, gear patterns are checked for optimal tooth contact, correct rolling torque is established, and backlash is precisely set for longevity, proper lubrication, and noise reduction. This specific axle assembly is noted to be for models equipped with the 249 transfer case.
