The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA434-1968A is a remanufactured front axle assembly engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for the 2005 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty Single Rear Wheel (SRW) trucks equipped with a 3.73 gear ratio. This Dana 60 assembly is rebuilt with a focus on precision and reliability, featuring a 9.75-inch ring gear and requiring 10 housing cover bolts. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects all components. This includes verifying that axle tubes are straightened to OEM standards and testing housings for surface wear and cracks. Internally, the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carriers are subjected to a 100% inspection. To ensure longevity and optimal performance, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The process also includes a specialized hydro blasting and rinsing procedure for housings, restoring them to an OEM finish, and precision setup with correct rolling torque and gear backlash. This specific assembly is noted to include the Harley-Davidson Package.
