Front Axle Assembly, 9.25-Inch Ring Gear, 3.42 Ratio

The Zumbrota RAA434-1969D is a remanufactured front axle assembly designed for 2013 Ram 2500 and 3500 models with a 3.42 gear ratio. This assembly features a 9.25-inch AAM ring gear and a non-serrated, flat smooth yoke. It includes the main housing and all internal components, ensuring a high standard of precision and reliability. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects all components. Ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers are fully examined. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and precise rolling torque is set using inch-pound measurements for longevity and proper operation. Gear backlash is also set correctly for adequate lubrication and quiet performance. To ensure OEM specifications are met, axle tubes are inspected and straightened. Housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Zumbrota utilizes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process for the internal and external parts, restoring the housing to an OEM finish. This axle assembly includes the main housing and internals only; it does not include axles or ball joints. The fluid capacity is 2.3 quarts, and fluid is not included. Mounting hardware is also not included with this assembly. It is intended as a standard replacement part.
