Overview

It is constructed with high-tech materials for durability and performance. This kit replaces the upper and lower front ball joints on one side and includes all necessary small parts.

The housing is CNC-machined from forged SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel, while the ball stud is made from induction heat-treated, hot-forged 4140 chromoly. Military-grade acetal bearings are used for their anti-friction properties. The ball joints feature a two-stage protection system with a synthetic Neoprene/CR outer boot and an inner seal/pancake boot to guard against grime, fluids, and extreme temperatures. The kit includes Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins, and zerk fittings.

For enhanced performance, military-grade acetal bearings are employed due to their advanced anti-friction properties and dimensional stability. This kit replaces both the upper and lower front ball joints on one side of the vehicle. It includes all required small parts, such as Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins, and zerk fittings for straightforward installation. The lower bearing is designed with an angled zerk fitting for easier servicing, and the kit contains an alignment bushing to allow for adjustments to caster and camber angles. The Yukon Ball Joint Kit is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
