Front Ball Joint Kit

The Yukon YSPBJ-014HDK2 is a performance-grade ball joint kit engineered to replace failing OE ball joints and enhance durability. This comprehensive kit includes two upper and two lower ball joints for both sides, along with all necessary associated small parts for a complete installation. Constructed with superior materials, the kit features a hot-forged, induction heat-treated 4140 chromoly ball stud for exceptional durability, paired with a CNC-machined forged SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel housing. Military-grade acetal bearings are utilized for their anti-friction properties and dimensional stability. Protection against road grime, fluids, and extreme temperatures is provided by a robust two-stage sealing system, consisting of a Neoprene/CR outer boot and an internal seal/pancake boot. This ball joint kit is designed to fit Dana 50 and Dana 60 front differentials. It is greaseable, with a pre-threaded zerk housing that simplifies lubrication maintenance. The lower bearing includes an angled zerk fitting for easier servicing. Additionally, the kit comes with an alignment bushing that allows for adjustments to the caster and camber angle. It also features extrusion-rolled threads, which are significantly stronger than cut-thread construction. Installation Note: Users may experience memory steer during a break-in period of 300 to 500 miles. The kit includes Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins, and zerk fittings.
