Front Ball Joint Kit

Replace and upgrade your failing OE ball joints with Yukon's precision-built units, constructed from strong, high-tech materials. This kit includes one upper and one lower front ball joint for one side of your vehicle, along with all required small parts, including Grade 8 hardware, castle nuts, c-clips, cotter pins, and zerk fittings. The housing is CNC-machined from forged SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel, ensuring longer joint life. The ball stud is crafted from induction heat-treated, hot-forged 4140 chromoly for exceptional durability. The upper joint utilizes a rugged metal-to-metal bearing design, while the lower joint features military-grade acetal bearings for advanced anti-friction properties. Protection against the elements is provided by a two-staged sealing system, combining a synthetic Neoprene/CR outer boot with an inner seal/pancake boot to guard against grime, fluids, and extreme temperatures. The ball joints feature extrusion rolled threads, which are significantly stronger than traditional cut-thread construction. This kit is designed to fit the Dana 60 front differential. Note that a break-in period of 300 to 500 miles may be experienced, during which memory steer might occur.
