These are functional, but have the cosmetic defect all-too-common on these units of the optical bonding leaking out creating the air pockets you see. These have been bench tested for functionality. If you are a technician and have a unit with the dreaded white screen and need a cheap replacement option, you have landed in the right place. We have others listed without the issue seen here. These will be “sticky” due to the bonding agent, but the adhesive will come off of your hands with rubbing alcohol, or use disposable gloves when handling. Because this is a repair part, it is sold as is, no returns. We are not a source for bench tested parts to see if it fixes a problem and return if it doesn’t. These were tested on 10/10/19 on a live test jig. If your unit does not power on, powers on briefly but powers back off, or powers on completely but with no backlight, I can assure you this part is not going to fix your issue. This is really for those with LCD failure due to the LCD’s internal video driver failing, which usually presents itself as a white screen while all buttons beep, etc.
