This kit includes the left and right front calipers, each featuring a painted finish, a bleeder screw, and a crossover hydraulic line. These calipers are engineered to work with 345mm rotors, specifically noted for use with Mk5 R32 / Mk6R models, and are manufactured in the Czech Republic with Genuine Porsche quality. Brake calipers are critical components of your vehicle's hydraulic braking system, applying pressure to the brake pads against the rotors to slow or stop the car. Over time, calipers can fail due to extreme heat cycles and moisture ingress, leading to issues like seized pistons, fluid leaks, or dragging brakes. Regular brake fluid flushes are recommended to maintain the longevity of your braking system. This Genuine Porsche kit is noted to require specific rotor sizes, specifically 345mm rotors, and is an upgrade for Mk5/6/7 platforms. The parts come primed and ready for optional painting. It's important to note that minor imperfections in the primer do not affect product quality and do not qualify for returns. The kit does not include brake pads or brake pad hardware, and it is recommended to replace the caliper mounting bolts when installing new calipers.
