It is cast from high carbon alloyed iron and features Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to handle increased stress and heat. The Stillen DBA2956S is a direct replacement brake rotor from DBA Brakes, designed to offer upgraded performance braking capabilities beyond standard OE levels. As a direct-fit component, it ensures OE-compatible sizing for straightforward installation into your vehicle's existing brake system. It features a T2 slot design and utilizes DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system. This unique design, characterized by 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars, significantly increases the rotor's surface area, leading to up to a 30% improvement in cooling efficiency compared to traditional straight vane designs. The DBA2956S rotor has a 299.5 mm outside diameter, a 72 mm center hole diameter, and is a vented rotor with a 25 mm nominal and discard thickness. It is designed with 5 lug holes. This specific rotor (DBA2956S) is compatible with the following applications: 2007-2011 Mazda 3 (S trim specifically for 2007-2009 models), 2006-2010 Mazda 5 (models produced up to 12/10), and 2012-2013 Mazda 5.
