The Stillen DBA53700BLKXD is a front brake rotor from DBA Brakes, engineered for drivers seeking performance braking upgrades beyond standard OE levels. This 2-piece, fully assembled rotor features a non-directional cross-drilled and dimpled design, offering enhanced sports aesthetics and cooling benefits. Constructed from high carbon alloyed iron, these rotors undergo Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to withstand the rigorous demands of intense braking applications. The 5000 Series XD rotors incorporate DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, which utilizes diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars to increase surface area and achieve up to a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency compared to traditional straight vane designs. Key technical specifications include an outside diameter of 350mm, a nominal thickness of 32mm (with a minimum thickness of 30mm), a center hole diameter of 70.18mm, and 10 lug holes. The surface type is Drilled Slotted, and the vane design is R KP Vents. The rotor is vented for optimal heat dissipation. It is important to note that DBA does not recommend XD rotors for track use. This specific rotor is designed for the front axle and is compatible with the 2017 Honda Civic Type R.
