The PRL Motorsports Front Chassis Brace Upgrade is designed to enhance the rigidity of unibody vehicles like the 2016-2021 Honda Civic, which can otherwise experience flexibility limitations during aggressive driving. This brace serves as a crucial component in a set of chassis upgrades, working in conjunction with PRL's Mid-Rear and Rear Chassis Braces to maximize the vehicle's potential for peak rigidity. Its external mounting to the plastic under shield ensures compatibility with the OEM sheet metal brace, facilitating a straightforward installation without compromises. The brace is constructed entirely from durable 304 stainless steel and features meticulous TIG welding, providing both exceptional durability and robust corrosion resistance. Beyond its functional benefits, it also contributes a polished aesthetic to the underside of the vehicle, offering tangible performance gains, especially noticeable during hard cornering. Technical specifications include 1.9 mm thick elliptical tubing, 11-gauge sheet metal, and JIS Class 10.9 zinc-plated hardware. The product also includes machined stainless steel bushings and all necessary hardware for installation. The brace is compatible with all 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type-R FK8 models and all 2016-2021 Honda Civic 10th Gen models with 1.5T and 2.0L engines, including RHD and international variants. **Please note:** This product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle.
