The BDS Suspension BDS034401 front coil springs are designed to allow custom tuning of the spring rate and ride height for your 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ, particularly for vehicles already lifted by 3.5 inches. As a critical component of your suspension system, these coil springs bear the weight of the Jeep's body and chassis, enabling the suspension, wheels, and tires to effectively navigate road surfaces. Constructed from high tensile steel, these direct OE replacement coil springs feature a properly sized wire diameter for enhanced reliability and to prevent premature coil bind. A polyester-based powder coat is applied for flexibility and durability, while a preset hydraulic stress reduces fatigue in the steel and prevents sagging. Furthermore, these springs are shot peened to increase tensile strength and allow for maximum wheel travel without sacrificing spring life. They are either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160, ensuring long-term performance. This product is a component of BDS Suspension packages BDS448FS and BDS448H.
