The Viking A228-400K is a front coilover kit designed to make your car launch harder, handle better, and look cooler. It features a lightweight aluminum twin-tube design with a clear anodized finish and is manufactured in the USA. This kit allows for independent adjustment of compression and rebound settings, enabling you to fine-tune the softness or firmness of your suspension. The piston is precision-machined aluminum with a deflective disc and a P.T.F.E./bronze piston seal, while the piston rod is hard chrome plated and centerless ground. Viking uses stainless steel bearing races in its bearing mount shocks. The unique left-hand threads between the base and body prevent the shock/strut from coming apart when adjusting ride height. This kit provides a 0-3 inch drop height and includes a 400 lbs spring. A spanner wrench and thrust bearing kit are sold separately. This coilover kit is specifically designed for 1997-2013 Corvettes. It comes with a two-year materials and workmanship warranty and each unit is hand-built, tested, and serialized at the Viking factory.
