Front Coilover Kit with QA1 Double Adjustable Shocks

The Global West COMNR-6466D is a front coilover kit engineered for the 1964, 1965, and 1966 Ford Mustang, offering a significant upgrade over the stock suspension. This kit allows for adjustable ride height and features double adjustable QA1 shocks, providing precise control over both bump and rebound. The kit includes lower A-arms, upper A-arms with integrated alignment specifications to minimize shimming, billet upper shock mounts, new tower supports, and a sway bar. The redesigned lower control arms feature an adjustable mount at the strut rod location for installation ease and a relocated sway bar attachment point that allows for a lower vehicle stance without frame clearance issues. This design also accommodates a longer coilover shock, increasing front suspension travel to a total of 9 inches. Adjustable steering stops are also included. New tubular inner fender well shock tower panels are provided, which are essential for accessing the shock adjusters and accommodating the increased suspension travel. While standard drum or disc brake spindles can be used, note that the lower control arm will interfere with factory Kelsey Hayes 4-piston disc brakes; aftermarket performance brakes such as Wilwood are required. Factory and aftermarket steering systems designed for 1964-1966 Mustangs can be used, but it is recommended to check the bump curve, especially with rack and pinion kits. The kit also includes part #TS-46T, which is used with factory or Global West Negative Roll upper arms.
