The Powerflex PFF5-4601 is a street-performance control arm bushing kit engineered to restore handling and stability in BMW E46 3 Series and Z4 models. By replacing soft, worn factory rubber bushings, these polyurethane components provide a firmer, more planted feel and help maintain consistent wheel alignment by limiting bushing deflection during cornering and braking. Crafted from an advanced proprietary polyurethane material, these purple-colored street bushings are specifically formulated to provide performance improvements without the harshness associated with racing-grade materials. The kit is designed for 66mm applications. For those requiring a different fitment, note that 60mm bushings are typically found on earlier models; 60mm units can be upgraded to 66mm only by using separate replacement housings, which are sold separately. Installation requires attention to specific vehicle configurations. This kit is not compatible with AWD models, which utilize a different bushing and housing design. Owners of earlier E46 models should verify their current control arm bushing size (60mm vs 66mm) prior to purchase to ensure proper fitment. All kits include detailed installation instructions.
