The Powerflex PFF85-802x2 front control arm rear bushings are engineered to replace the stock rubber components, which can degrade and allow excessive alignment changes, negatively impacting handling and tire wear. Constructed from durable urethane, these bushings significantly reduce control arm flex, leading to a more stable ride and more precise steering response. The urethane material, often specified as 80 Shore A, contributes to an "almost 100%" increase in stiffness over the original bushings. This enhanced stiffness directly translates to improved handling characteristics and a heightened sense of safety during driving. Powerflex backs these bushings with a lifetime warranty, providing assurance against premature wear and the need for future replacement. The PFF85-802x2 set includes the necessary hardware for installation. A "Street Bushings" option is typically available, with a "Race Bushings" variant offering additional caster adjustment features. These bushings are specifically designed for the 2015-2021 Volkswagen Golf Mk7, 2015-2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk7, and the 2022+ Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk8 models. It is important to note that this part fits steel subframes and steel wishbones only, and features an offset bore to match the caster offset of the OE bush.
