The TRW M3 Front Control Arm Set is a replacement for stock E9X M3 models and an upgrade for all E9X 3-series (RWD) and E82 1-series vehicles. This set includes upper and lower control arms, with the upper control arm also referred to as a thrust arm or tension strut. TRW is recognized as a trusted OEM supplier for control arms, with Turner Motorsport recommending these parts as replacements for BMW vehicles.

The TRW M3 Front Control Arm Set includes a complete set of four upper and lower control arms, serving as both a direct replacement for E9X M3 models and an upgrade for non-M E9X 3-series and E8X 1-series vehicles. TRW is the original supplier to BMW for these components, ensuring quality and fitment. This upgrade set features M3 wishbone arms that provide increased negative camber (approximately 0.75 degrees), which enhances turn-in response and chassis balance. The solid rubber tension strut bushings reduce deflection compared to stock hydro bushings, strengthening the joints and increasing steering feedback for a more connected driving experience. This upgrade is particularly beneficial for vehicles with increased engine power potential, allowing the suspension to better manage the performance. This control arm set is compatible with a range of BMW 1 Series (E82/E88 128i, 135i, 135is, 1M Coupe) and 3 Series (E90/E91/E92/E93 325i, 328i, 330i, 335d, 335i, 335is, and M3) models from approximately 2006 to 2013. Note that Xi AWD models are not compatible with this kit. Additionally, Xenon-equipped vehicles will require a separate headlight link for proper installation.
