The Powerflex PFF5-5701 is a high-performance front control arm to chassis bushing kit constructed from advanced purple polyurethane. Designed as a superior alternative to stock rubber bushings, this kit effectively eliminates the mushy, disconnected feel common in worn factory setups. By reducing bushing deflection, these components help keep suspension alignment in check during cornering, leading to more planted handling and increased driver confidence without the excessive noise or vibration associated with stiffer race-only compounds. Each kit contains two bushings specifically engineered for the front control arms of various BMW AWD vehicles, including 3 Series (E90, E91, E92) xDrive models and the X1 (E84). The material properties of Powerflex polyurethane ensure a significantly longer service life compared to standard rubber, and the kit includes all necessary installation instructions. Replacing these bushings is an ideal solution for symptoms of wear such as clunking noises over bumps, uneven tire wear, and vague or wandering steering behavior.
