The DBA DBA788X brake rotor is engineered for daily drivers seeking an upgrade over standard OE braking performance. Designed as a direct replacement, it aims to provide improved stopping power and a more performance-oriented aesthetic without compromising daily drivability. The rotor features a cross-drilled and slotted surface pattern that aids in expelling friction dust and gases, contributing to quieter and more responsive pedal feel. Constructed from high-carbon alloyed iron, this rotor undergoes Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to withstand increased stress and heat during braking. This, combined with a machine-turned CBN polish, helps to reduce disc thickness fluctuations, pad knock, and premature wear. Further enhancing its performance and longevity, the DBA788X incorporates an En-shield coating that protects the rotor and eliminates the need for pre-installation cleaning.
