Front Differential 3.73 Ratio Vacuum Assist

The Zumbrota RAA440-1349C is a remanufactured front axle assembly designed for 1995-1996 Ford M35 IFS Explorer models, featuring a 3.73 gear ratio and vacuum assist. Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds these axle assemblies to stringent quality standards, ensuring precision and reliability. The process includes a comprehensive inspection of all internal components, such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. Every assembly is fitted with new bearings and seals. The gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to precise rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for enhanced setup and longevity. Proper gear backlash is also set to ensure correct lubrication and quiet operation. Internal and external parts are subjected to an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peened deep cleaning process. All housings are tested for surface wear and cracks to ensure they meet OEM standards of straightness. Units are shipped in high-density plastic totes to minimize transit damage.
