The Transit Auto KDF-100778 is a front disc brake kit engineered to deliver superior stopping power and performance. This kit utilizes an exclusive PowerGrip™ Semi-Metallic brake pad formula, offering powerful friction, extreme temperature tolerance, and an aggressive initial bite, all while minimizing dust and noise. The rotors are constructed from Carbon-Enhanced PowerCast™ (G11H18/G3000) iron castings, providing unmatched strength, grip, and stability. Further enhancing performance and durability, the rotors are precision cross-drilled and slotted with the DS1™ Bi-Directional design for maximum cooling and heat dissipation, suitable for universal left or right installation. These rotors are engineered with a High Carbon SteelRX™ alloy, known for its pressure resistance and thermal conductivity, and finished with an Anti-Rust Black Paint to improve longevity. The included shims are fiber-reinforced and multi-layered with a rubber core to effectively minimize noise, vibration, and harshness, ensuring a quiet ride.
