Front Drift Angle Lock Kit for Mazda RX-7 FD

The WiseFab WFR70 Front Drift Angle Lock Kit is engineered for the Mazda RX-7 FD chassis (1992-2002) to significantly enhance drift performance. This kit provides a substantial 62 degrees of steering lock, enabling more aggressive and controlled drifts. It is designed with an adjustable lock stopper, allowing for fine-tuning of the steering geometry, and offers parallel steering capabilities. The lower control arms feature an adjustable shock motion ratio, and the original swaybar can be retained. Constructed from high-strength steel components, including sheet metal parts, tubes, and rod end housings, the WFR70 kit utilizes rod ends and spherical bearings, eliminating rubber bushings for increased precision and durability. It also incorporates steering jacking control to prevent handling issues associated with extreme steering angles. Installation of the WFR70 kit requires coilovers with sufficient clearance and results in a recommended ride height of approximately 80mm from the front subframe to the ground. Wider fenders or fender flares may be necessary depending on rim width and offset. The kit is designed to fit with tire diameters up to 635mm (e.g., 215/45R17, 225/45R17, 235/40R17, 225/40R18) without modifying inner wheel wells. A minimum rim diameter of 17 inches is required, with a recommended backspacing of approximately 135mm.
