The Subaru 28321SC033 is a front drive shaft assembly, also known as a CV axle or half-shaft, engineered to maintain the original performance and reliability of your vehicle's drivetrain. As a genuine Subaru part, it serves as a direct-fit replacement for original equipment, ensuring compatibility with your vehicle's existing suspension and differential components. This assembly is compatible with several specific Subaru models, including 2009-2013 Forester, 2011 Impreza, 2011-2014 Impreza WRX, 2011-2014 Impreza STI, and 2013-2014 XV Crosstrek. It replaces earlier part numbers 28321SC030, 28321SC032, and 28321SC031. This component is backed by the Subaru factory warranty and is manufactured to rigorous OEM specifications. Installation requires removal of the wheel, axle nut, and control arm connections to disconnect the assembly from the steering knuckle and differential. Technicians must inspect bearings within the knuckle and ensure the new spring pin correctly locks the CV joint to the differential stub shaft. Once installed, it is recommended to verify the transaxle or differential fluid levels and torque the axle nut to manufacturer specifications.
