The Zumbrota Drivetrain ZDS9769 front driveshaft is a new, fully assembled component built from high-grade steel, designed to replace the original equipment on specific Grand Cherokee vehicles. It features a maintenance-free, computer-balanced design for smooth operation and vibration-free driving. Key specifications include a 1310 Double cardan CV joint at the transfer case and a 6-bolt CV connection at the differential. The overall compressed length is 28-1/4 inches, measured from the flange to the center of the universal joint. New universal joints, slip yokes, shafts, and other components ensure a long service life, and all units are dynamically balanced at over 3,000 RPMs. The slip yokes and universal joints are lubricated with high-temperature grease.
