The Zumbrota Drivetrain ZDS9797 is a new front driveshaft specifically designed for Grand Cherokee and Commander vehicles. With a flange-to-flange compressed length of 34 inches and a tube length measuring 23-1/4 inches from weld to weld, this driveshaft offers a precise fit. USA Standard Gear constructs these driveshafts using high-grade steel, incorporating upgrades over standard OEM components to address common failure points. Each unit undergoes dynamic balancing at speeds exceeding 3,000 RPM, ensuring a vibration-free driving experience. The inclusion of new universal joints, slip yokes, and shafts, along with a 6-bolt CV flange on each end, guarantees long-term durability and reliability. This driveshaft is delivered fully assembled, facilitating a straightforward replacement process. The slip yokes and universal joints are pre-lubricated with high-temperature grease, contributing to maintenance-free operation and extended service life.
