The USA Standard Gear ZDS9710 is a new, fully assembled front driveshaft designed for trucks and SUVs. This driveshaft offers a robust solution with an overall compressed length of 27 1/2 inches, measured center-to-center of the universal joints. It is equipped with a 7290 universal joint at the differential, featuring 1.125-inch caps and an inboard snap ring for secure operation. Constructed from high-grade steel, many components have been upgraded from OEM specifications to address common issues and enhance durability. The USA Standard driveshafts are strengthened over original equipment shafts to prevent failure. New universal joints, slip yokes, and shafts are utilized to ensure a long service life, and all units are lubricated with high-temperature grease. For a smooth and vibration-free driving experience, each driveshaft is dynamically balanced at 3,000+ RPM. This driveshaft is guaranteed for proper fitment and easy installation, being designed as a simple out-of-the-box replacement. It is specifically designed to fit the front of 1990-1993 Dodge Ramcharger and Trailduster models equipped with a manual transmission.
