Description

The USA Standard Gear ZDS9143 is a new, fully assembled front driveshaft designed specifically for the Jeep Cherokee. It offers a direct, out-of-the-box replacement with a compressed length of 30 5/8 inches from the center of the universal joint to the center of the universal joint. This driveshaft is constructed with high-grade steel and features new universal joints, slip yokes, and strengthened shafts that are upgraded from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components to eliminate known issues and prevent common failures. It is lubricated with high-temperature grease and is dynamically balanced at 3,000+ RPMs to ensure vibration-free driving and a smooth, maintenance-free operation. USA Standard "Perfect Fit" driveshafts are guaranteed for proper fitment and easy installation. This specific model fits the '99-'00 Jeep Cherokee Dana 30 front axle, equipped with the 4.0L engine, an Aisen Warner 4-speed automatic transmission, and either an NP 231 or NP 242 transfer case.
