Description

The Öhlins FGRT 221 is an upside-down front fork designed for the Kawasaki Ninja H2 (2015–2019) to enhance stability and rider comfort. It incorporates the proven Öhlins 30mm NIX cartridge kit, which is frequently used in national superbike championships. By separating compression and rebound damping—one adjustment per leg—it allows for precise tuning, resulting in superior tire contact feel, better support under heavy braking, and more predictable handling. Technical specifications for the unit include a length of 740 mm and a stroke of 120 mm, utilizing a 10.5 N/mm spring rate (part 04744-05). Installation requires careful attention to positioning; it must be installed at the exact same position as the original equipment (OEM) front fork to maintain proper geometry. Note that this kit does NOT fit the Ninja H2 SX version. Some Öhlins products may be set up based on specific rider weight prior to shipping, and professional installation is recommended to ensure correct alignment of triple clamps and clip-ons.
